April 23 Update

Thank you to everyone who attended the bee class yesterday! This is a good time of year to start doing your monthly mite counts—it is better to have a good idea of when action is needed. The next mated 2023 Carniolan queens (these are Latshaw genetics) are available later this week ($40 each). The next batch of our own Queen Cells will be available Saturday afternoon/evening, April 29 ($6 or less each, depending on quantity). Our own PA Carniolan queens will be available late May. Fresh spring pollen will be available by the beginning of May.
