5-frame deep nucs made with bees from our overwintered PA colonies, and a new, 2023, marked and laying Carniolan queen. 5 Drawn frames including brood, resources, transport nuc box that you can keep or recycle. Box may vary from picture, as we have a few styles of nuc boxes, from wax dipped cardboard to plastic. Carlisle, PA location will have flexible pickup dates in late April (estimated to be the last week in April) through early May. For Carlisle, this may be slightly earlier, depending on the weather in March and April. Nicholson, PA (northern PA) location will have 2 pickup day options in early May (possibly the 12th or 13th)–(contact us in advance if you have questions). Please specify your pickup location preference with your order. Consider adding a mesh bag to your order, if you are concerned about bees escaping inside your vehicle. If you need a medium size nuc, please contact us before ordering. These are late March 2023 queens from a reputable breeder in California with similar quality and genetic goals, and we have monitored the laying pattern before selling them. These are queens that we are happy to use in our own operation.
