We anticipate that we will again ship mated Carniolan queens in 2024 within the continental United States on a limited basis (from June through August, weather-dependent), otherwise queens are picked up at our Carlisle, PA location (or monthly at Nicholson–ask for information). For addresses within Pennsylvania and other areas within our 1-day UPS shipping zone, a standard surcharge will apply, and they can be ordered on our website For addresses in the rest of the continental U.S., actual 1-day UPS shipping costs with tracking and delivery confirmation apply, and we can provide an electronic invoice (because of transit issues, we will not ship slower than 1-day rate). Live arrival is only guaranteed when shipped to UPS pickup locations (not residences). We only ship on Monday or Tuesday. Prices for shipped queens are the same as pickup prices, but a handling fee applies per order (to cover packaging and shipping materials—we use specific queen shipping boxes).
