Our Raw, Pure Pennsylvania Honey Bee Pollen is frozen immediately after we harvest it to preserve the freshness. The colors will vary as the bees collect from different plants and trees from day to day. You will notice a variety of colors in the pollen as the bees forage on various flowers, plants or trees during late April through early July. There is even some dark pollen mixed in. We sometimes pause shipping of the frozen bee pollen if the weather gets too warm. Bee pollen can be used by itself or with other food such as a smoothie, yogurt, and more. This comes in a glass honey jar, approximately 4oz. of pollen by weight. We package it in an insulated envelope with disposable cool sleeves.
IMPORTANT – It is usually best to start with a very small amount of pollen when using it. If you are severely allergic to pollen, bee stings, or are unsure about your allergies, contact your medical doctor for their opinion before consuming honey bee pollen. Do not feed pollen to children without a doctor's advice.
