Raw Honey and Bee Products

We offer pure, raw, local, delicious honey for sale at our self-serve stands year round (west of Carlisle on 148 Opossum Lake Rd before lake entrance and at 803 Brecht Hill Rd outside of Nicholson) as well as at our farm shop near Opossum Lake outside of Carlisle, PA. If you're downtown in Carlisle, you can also pick up some of our creamed honey at the Urban Artisan Studio. You can also purchase some of these products here to be shipped to your location anywhere in the U.S.  Honey is sold by net weight, not by volume. The prices below are for the Carlisle farm shop only. Our raw honey and bee products are produced by our own honey bee colonies in Pennsylvania (nowhere else) without the use of antibiotics or non-organic treatments on the honeybee colonies, and our processing facility is licensed and inspected. 

Spring honey is from flowering trees, bushes, and flowers as the nectar source, and is available each year by mid June and bulk quantities by late July. Spring honey ranges each year (weather dependent) in color from very light to medium color. Fall honey is made in September and October, consisting of knotweed, goldenrod, and late season wildflowers such as aster, and it is available each year starting in late October or early November. We also occasionally capture a “mostly locust” honey, which is the lightest in color and earliest honey of the year, typically late May/early June.
