BEEKEEPING CLASSES

Thank you to everyone who attended a class in 2026. We will have 2027 class details posted by early 2027. There is typically at least one hands-on class at the Carlisle, PA farm shop location in May.

WAX DIPPING

We offer wax dipping services at our Carlisle, PA location for your assembled new (untreated, unpainted or stained, and unused) bee equipment, such as bottom boards, hive bodies, and wooden lids (no plastic components, screened bottom boards, inner covers, particle board, plywood, or flow hives with plastic parts–solid wood only). We wax dip (open to anyone) approximately once per month, typically Spring through September. Cost per 8 or 10 frame equipment piece is $5 plus tax.

HIVE CONSULTATIONS

We provide hive consultation services that can help provide you with feedback on the health of your colonies or best practices for better beekeeping. This is a confidential service, and the cost is based on the length of inspection, plus travel time. Travel time is based on your location from our Carlisle, PA farm shop location or (monthly) from Nicholson, PA. Contact us to schedule an appointment. Travel time is $20 per hour, and hive consultation time is $50 per hour.

POLLINATION

We provide commercial pollination ranging from 4 colonies to 400 colonies. The pricing depends upon location, crop being pollinated, timing, and the number of colonies needed. Contact us regarding your needs, and we can provide you with an estimate.
